TEAM VISION TAKE ON
ROUGH RUNNER
Team Vision are taking part in a number of challenges throughout the year to raise money for our chosen charity of the year - The Christie. In April, Team Vision took on their first challenge - Gung Ho, which is the world's biggest inflatable 5K run! Team Vision have now also completed Rough Runner in June, where the team faced a 5K run with TV game show inspired obstacles. The team completed the challenging course despite the horrendous weather on the day. We are extremely pleased to say that we have now surpassed our fundraising target of £3,000!
The next event that Team Vision will face is Tough Mudder in September - a further 5K of muddy challenges and obstacles.
Steph Bryant from The Christie charity, said: "Team Vision are doing a fantastic job with their fundraising, exceeding their £3,000 target with more events to come later in the year. We really appreciate all the hard work that the team are putting in to raise vital funds for The Christie and benefit the lives of our patients and their families. Thank you to all involved."
The Christie is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe, treating more than 44,000 patients a year. Based in Manchester, they are leading experts in cancer care, research and education and have been pioneering cancer research breakthroughs for over 100 years. The charity continues to have exciting and ambitious plans for the future; however, their vital work would not be possible without the generosity of others and neither would the lifesaving hope it provides to their patients and their families. If you would like to support Team Vision in their fundraising efforts it would be very much appreciated. Please donate via the JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/teamvisionck
