The team at Vision Commercial Kitchens don't just design and deliver outstanding projects, our amazing team want to do a little good too! So this year 'Team Vision' are coming together and taking part in several events in order to raise money for our chosen charity of the year - The Christie Charity.

Vision's fundraising events begin in April where the team will take part in Gung Ho - the world's biggest inflatable 5K run! The next event on the calendar is Rough Runner which takes place in June, where the team will face another 5K run this time with TV game show inspired obstacles. The final event booked so far is Tough Mudder in September - a further 5K of muddy challenges and obstacles. These events are just the start, and Vision are busy thinking up more fundraising ideas to raise money for The Christie Charitable Fund throughout the year. The team already raised over £1,000 in the first week of fundraising which is a fantastic start!

Vision met with Steph Bryant, Corporate Fundraising Coordinator at The Christie Charity to discuss more ideas to raise vital funds for the charity. Steph says, 'We are absolutely delighted that Vision Commercial Kitchens have chosen to support The Christie over the next 12 months - Team Vision have an exciting calendar of fundraising activities in the pipeline and we are really looking forward to working with them.'

The Christie is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe, treating more than 44,000 patients a year. Based in Manchester, they are leading experts in cancer care, research and education and have been pioneering cancer research breakthroughs for over 100 years. The charity continues to have exciting and ambitious plans for the future; however, their vital work would not be possible without the generosity of others and neither would the lifesaving hope it provides to their patients and their families.
